Hisense 43 inch 4K TV not playing 4K movies correctly

I've had my 4k tv for about a week now, it playes everything perfectly fine apart from 4K movies (ironic), I have 4k movies on my usb, i connect them to the tv and play them, but in the bottom 20% of the screen, there is a load of graining in purple and white blocks, and the movie only takes up about 2/3 of the screen with weird white boarders around it. I have no idea why this is happening, i have tried MKV and MP4 4K movies, but for some reason they all act the same.

It is the Hisense H43M3000, I'm also able to play only some file formats on it, some MP4, MKV and AVI work, but some don't, and i cant figure out why. i have two 1080p copies of the same movie, both mkv, both x264 with stereo audio, both the same fps, resoloution, filesize etc, but one plays, and the other says "file format not supported" I would appreciate any help, this is very frustrating for me, thank you

Page on Amazon quotes : '
HEVC / VP9
HEVC (also known as H.265) is the future standard for 4K video decoding. It allows you to stream 4K content over the web or via USB without requiring any other equipment. VP9 capability is essential for viewing 4K content on YouTube.'

No idea if this info helps your good self all the same ?

Can this TV stream 4k content okay ?

Got this set myself, my only 4k source atm is Netflix and it streams and plays just fine. Re the OPs concerns I'm sorry to be of no help. When speaking to hisense tech support I was assured that a firmware update will expand 4k capabilities on HDMI 3 and 4 channels. Timescale given was by the end of the month.

Edit to add: this set is, apparently, technically the same as the M3300 range. Source hisense tech support.
