Hello "What Hi*Fi?"
Can we get back to our roots - high fidelity "sound" - let's drop all this television, telephone and computer chatter and get back to what matters "Sound".

I would like them to review more exotic, less heard about HiFi, but to drop everything else would wrong, right? I actually like them reviewing TV's, mobiles and consoles.

If they did go back to just hi fi they’d sell far fewer magazines. The majority of people who are buying it will be interested in all of the other stuff.

Hi Fi people or audiophiles are the minority unfortunately.

Saying that What Hi Fi and most other Hi Fi publications talk a load of meaningless twaddle anyway.

There HDMI cable reviews are just embarrassing, but they stopped reviewing them a while back. I have never seen a difference between them. So I just buy the best basic cables (8K, 120Hz) and call it a day.
