Hi-Fi System for a small room - budget £500-£700

I am looking for advice on a CD/DAB system for a small room - 2 m x 3 m appox.

Due to limited space I was thinking of wall mounted speakers.

My Budget is £500 - £700

I am a complete beginner so any help would be gratefully received.

In a room that size, Onkyo CR-515UK CD receiver - £230 or so - and a pair of Mordaunt-Short Avant 902i speakers. Or Monitor Audio Bronze B2s. £380-£430 all in, and it'll be laaaarvely!

AFAIK yes. If they're not specifically designed for it, something like these will do the job very well.
