I cuurently have a pair of amped Logitech Z-10 speakers which have just locked themselves on mute (one negative for touch controls versus a standard button switch). Does anyone have an idea how to unstick the mute button.

Also what are the best amped speakers out there for direct connection to a PC that are not Logitech, or Creative?

Thanks for any thoughts!

I use the Philips MMS321 PC Speakers £60. I am very impressed with them.

Acoustic Energy's Aego-M speakers for around 120 quid are really good too.

Probably AVI ADM9s at just around the £1000 mark

WHF like the Audioengine A5s at £200 WHF review
