My name is Toni and I'm 24 years old, and i found about this site from google. I'm looking forward in reading and getting more information from audio and video industry.

As for now my wish is buying a new AV receiver (Yamaha, Pioneer , .etc) with speaker maybe a 5.1 version and a new tv (one step out of the time). At home I have a old reciver from AKAI AA-1050. But it's old and doesnt work properly. I do not know much about new AV recivers. So thats why i registered to this site. To learn aobut them. Which is more suitable for me, to see what can they do. and finaly to buy a new. 🙂

P.s. Sorry for my bad english.

Hiya.

What speakers do you have? There are some great amps around.

On AKAI AA-1050 were at first old stereo speakers from a Sanoi or Sanai. I forgot the name of the hi fi kompoment. It was an old hi fi with a cd player, Gramofon deck and a duo tape deck. So when it broke down I took thoose speakers. And After them I put Philips Stereo speakers from Micro system Philips MCM 700. Akai is giving me troubles with the sound and the radio has it moments when doesnt want to work. As I put the speakers, when I listen to the music sometimes left speaker stops working. (It happend when I had the oldest speakers and with phillips). This receiver is 30 years or more old. So it doesnt suprise me why does he work like that.

I'm looking at receivers that can connect wi fi or by lan cable for internet radio and stream music from my computer. Because I have a plan in my mind where I will connect a new TV lcd which has a smart tv in it to the internet, so I would like to connect a receiver to it. And put 3.1 or 5.1 speakers to the receiver.
