Hi,

After a few years of ipod and music on my laptop, i decided to fulfill a boyhood dream and get myself a seperate system.

As I am new to this, I went into Richer sounds ( wide eyed ).

The system i liked was:

Cambridge audio 340A Amp £149

Cambridge audio 340C Cd Player £149

TDL Saturn 10 Speakers £140

Has anyone got any opinon`s on these or recommend any in this sort of price range.

That's not a bad start sir, but I would check out superfi's system deal - NAD CD and Amp, with Tannoy F1 speakers, all for £349! http://www.superfi.co.uk/index.cfm/page/category.cfm/Category/253

Might be a little more musical that the Cambridge system (esp, the TDLs which haven't got the best reputation)
