Hi, I've got a bit out of touch with what's available at the moment, particularly relative to dedicated stereo HiFi vs AV receivers - is there a decent AV amp/receiver out there that gives good stereo and AV performance in the £800-1500 price range?. I'm currently using a Naim pre/power set up for stereo and an old Yamaha RXV-350 receiver for AV. I'd really like to get more use out of my Kef reference 3.2's by integrating them as main stereo and front AV speakers, and will sacrifice a little bit of outright stereo quality for day to day usability (but not too much). Any advice welcome.

I'd be looking for a receiver with preouts for the front two channels - think Onkyo 806/876, Yamaha DSP-AX863SE, Sony STR-DA2400ES even - and stick with the Naim for the stereo sources, only employing the receiver for surround sources.
