Help with my b&w pv1 sub

Not sure if this is in the correct place so sorry if its not.

But i seem to have a problem with my B&w pv1 sub i brought this today plugged it all in the did the mcacc test and the sub worked during this then when i put a cd/ipod on i get nothing..

I have the pioneer sc-lx73 av amp

Any ideas as this is really bugging me

Are you sure you don't have your front speakers set to large or using a direct audio mode that wont be sending any audio to the sub?

If your front speakers are set to large, the sub will be ignored in stereo mode.
