Help with hdmi connection Please

Hi all just recieved my free chord active hdmi cable due to subscribing to what hifi and there are arrows on the cable so my question is does the arrow point towards the tv or the dvd player or do it not matter any advice would be much appreciated thanks GARRY

It shouldnt really make any difference but ALL arrows should point the FLOW of electricity (So the arrow should point towards the tv in this case)

The Chord is designed to be used with the arrows pointing source to destination, so yes the arrows point from the player to the TV, so that the filter unit is at the TV end.
