Help upgrade of AVR & projector

Hi Guys

wondered if you had any suggestions. I am looking to replace my Onkyo 606 & Sanyo PLVZ 700 had them both about 6 years and they have served me well. The Onkyo has only 1080i output and the Sanyo 720p and as things have moved on in the last 5 years I would like to upgrade without breaking the bank.

Total budget about £1300. Any sugestions for either or both would be nice. New units don't need to be 2013 spec models just good ones that will do a decent job. Cheers

Entry level Epson projectors get good write ups (About £1000) as do Entry level Yamaha AVR Receivers (£300 – £500) so will probably be a good place to start, however the only sure way to find something that suits you is to have a demo at a dealer, as everyone has different tastes.
