HELP... to choose best AV receiver for Tannoy Sensys

hi
i'm new to home theater systems.
i bought a Tannoy Sensys 5.1 speaker Package and now i'm looking for a receiver.
i test it with a sony Muteki av receiver and it had very unpromising sound quality in mid and high frequencies.
and i test it again with a yamaha rx-v667 av receiver and sound quality was good
i think tannoy drivers is lazy
which brand i must looking for?
i heard tannoys speakers cant match with any receiver
i need your experience to choose a right receiver for my Tannoy
My budget is about 1000$

Front: Sensys 2
Rear: Sensys R
Center: Sensys C
Sub: SFX Sub

I quite liked the sound of the Marantz 5006 with Tannoy revolution series, might be worth checking that one out with your speakers, should be well within budget.
