Help, Sacd Signal wanted.

Help, I am a AV virgin. Can I stream sacd signals from a Sony BDP-S570 blue ray to a Onkyo TX-SR608, a Yamaha RX-V667 or a Sony STRDA3500ES av amp via HDMI ? I am looking to buy a new AV amp and as I have a large collection of SACD's this is a must.

I don't know the specifics of the Sony BDP, but most BD players that play SACD will stream either native DSD via HDMI or convert the DSD to PCM internally and then send the PCM via HDMI. Many AVRs will accept DSD via HDMI but for those that don't it helps to be able to convert to PCM in the player.

I know that higher end Onkyo and Yamaha AVRs certainly do- so would imagine that the '608 and '667 most likely do. Sony has to. They're the only manufacturer that I know of that that builds a standalone multichannel SACD CD Player with an HDMI output for streaming DSD to AVRs so not having that input functionality across its AVR line would be baffling.
