Help required with Onkyo 706 and PS3 set up for HD Audio.

The amp is dislaying multichannel - where you are supposed to check and tick boxes on the PS3 -i have no option to do this , they are just there , there are no boxes !?
Also when checking the display it says on screen neo dd ?
I could not find any options on the disc itself to select audio -it wasnt in audio or languages -it was National treasure 1 bluray .
It doesn''t look as if i am getting true hd am i if it says DD neo !
Any advice please ? In simple terms !
Will it be similar setting up the xbox hd dvd drive ??
