help please hifi to ps4

hello again guys needing some help i have a ps4 and iwant the sound toc ome from my hi-fi

hifi is a Philips Mini Hi-Fi System FWM372 MP3/WMA-CD playback

and then have the toslink cox and phono leads connecting

any help grately appreiacted and sorry if i have not explained fully

PS via optical to DAC, DAC via phono to stereo just be sure to set the PS to output stereo only.

After a bit of googling I've worked out that the PS4 has a headphone output and your Philips Mini system has an Aux input. This from the PS4 support pages: http://www.allekabels.nl/jack-naar-tulp-kabel/6266/1506/jack-tulp-kabel.html

it certainty does not a headphone output on the main unit, the only place is does is on the controllers.

so as above the only way to connect the ps4 to your HiFi is to get a cheap dac with optical in to two phono out ( approx £30 from Amazon ).
