Help on speakers please

I have just purchased the LG LCD 19ls4d.I fell for a bargain £200 instead of £279 and purchased without testing (rookie error) by way of telesales . The TV is good has freeview etc but the sound is really poor, very tinny.

So I need some speakers to enhance the sound. Space is limited and so ideally I need some mini speakers. I've seen lots of PC related speakers which may do the trick but any advise would be greatly appreciated. Ideally I don't want to spend too much.

jbl control checkout richer sounds theyre pretty small and are quite cheap too [they dont sound too bad either
