How to i get access back to my mobile. I have not stole it, it is my phone but i was so sure of it but it's just not working :O Help?

Major,

Let's be hypothetical.

Just imagine if you had lost your phone, and you then saw someone had posted on a forum, asking how to bypass the security password, on the same model phone that you had lost.

From another viewpoint- let's be psychoanalytical-do you join a hifi forum, post normal stuff and 15 months later try to find out how to unlock a potentially stolen phone.

i promise it's not potentially a stolen phone, if it was stolen why would i steal a nokia lumia 720 i'd wait a while and swipe a brand new shiny Sony xperia Z2. 😛 My nokia Lumia was a gift, i may now have a good reason to get myself something better but would like to know how to check my messages as i have 3 plus 2 calls and i can't get into them. so frustrating. Every time i get it wong the wait to try again keeps increasing. I have Now Gave up trying.

You misunderstand me- I was on your side."Potentially stolen " was referring to the implications in the previous post about "lost a phone".

The only option if you have forgotton your password is to perform a hard reset.
Power off your Nokia LumiaPress and hold the Volume Down and Camera keys simultaneously, and then press and hold the Power key until the Nokia logo screen goes black.Release the Power key but continue to hold down the Volume Down and Camera keys until the phone reboots.

Do you have a backup?

Aha , it's a Windows phone. You don't have to worry about that, as long as you've ticked the backup box in settings. 😉

After the hard reset, simply log in with your hotmail / outlook password, and you get everything back; texts, photos, documents etc. 🙂
