Help needed, 2.1 surround sound home cinema

Hi, my dad wants a home cinema in a box for xmas. He wants 2.1 as doesnt want wires around the room and the budget is only £200. Does anyone know a fairly decent system for this. Want 1080 upscaling for dvds in it. I see LG and samsung do a couple systems but i dont know if they are any good. Any input would be appreciated. Thankyou.

I wouldn't worry about upscaling for that budget. The one in the television will probably be better. (Don't forget that all images are upscaled whether it's done in the DVD/BR player / AV amp / TV. It has to be upscaled to fit on the screen).
