Does the Xi-fi Pro have an Optical In port? Use that to get the sound to the speakers. Worked with my Xi-fi Fatality and the original Xbox. You do have to have the PC on though.

In regards to the soundcard, theres two parts - The internal card itsef and an external to plug in other bits and bobs but it does have a digital connection

http://img.hexus.net/v2/audio/creative/x-fi/card_bracket.jpg -- Thats a picture of the card for PC

http://img.hexus.net/v2/audio/creative/x-fi/external_front.jpg -- Front of the external soundcard console

The Elite is going to be using HDMI to connect to the TV

So seems to be a pretty straight forward thing to do? Connect Elite to TV using HDMI for HD visual. Connect the Xbox to Soundcard using digital sound and everything is sweet? Will there be any special settings i'll need to do? Im pretty noob at things like this.

Credit to hexus and llamma for the pix

Yes, plug into the back of the external unit with an optical cable. Make sure that you turn off the Muting in the Volume control. As I recall, I had to fiddle with the Optical In settings in the Audio Control Panel to ensure that they synced up properly. It's relatively simple to do.
