Hi, I have a 2nd room to put some nice budget system.

It is not big, but soft walls and carpet so it is isolated well.

I think the size is 3 * 3,5 meters.

I want a classic speaker-amp-cd player system + stands, cables and hifi rack.

total budget is only 2,000 pounds and I will only play rock and metal like Led Zep, Pink floyd, the doors, metallica, pantera, opeth, tool etc.

Can I get a nice system for 2,000 pounds?

Oh yes, for 2k you could have a lovely sounding system. Synergy is always king, therefore, I'll put forward a system that should fit the budget: Exposure 2010S amp and CDP; Epos M12is or MA RX1s should fit the bill nicely. As far as racks go, the only one I can confidently recommend is mine: Stands Unique. Superb.

For cables, look at Chord SilverScreen speaker cable and Chord Odyssey 2 or Merlin Bach or Chopin interconnects.

I have the Avi Neutron 5 2.1 set, in my living room, for movies and background music.

Would a 2nd Avi neutron 5 2.1 make any sense (it's only 1200 pounds) or is it too clinical for rock/metal music?

When I played rock/metal on the Avi neutron 2.1 system it was a little boring. Would Monitor audio-exposure be better for this kind of music or anything else?
