Hi all,

Ok looking for some advice, currently own a Fiio x1 and my sound magic e10 have died so im looking to upgrade.

Here's the basics i listen to blues ,hard and heavy rock. so zepplin to motorhead, now i,ve narrowed it to 2 choises but have been unable to find reviews using my music choice. so any help would be very appreiciated.

choices are soundmagic pl50 or sony mdr-ex650ap however any other advice in that price rage would be great up to £80

Hi Robert

I went from E10's `to the 650's and i'm so glad i did. You wouldnt be disappointed with them. There's more bass in 650's and its an altogether warmer sound but for my listening thats what i want. The fit is by far the most comfortable of any in-ears i've ever worn. I could wear them all day, no problem.

Also worth looking at are the Beyerdynamic MMX102ie. I've just ordered a pair. Will let you know how i get on with them.
