Fair enough, I suppose looking nice is their most redeeming feature.

Yep, it did come in my decision making a little.

I did try on this pair too:

But found the ear bits too big.

At your price point it's just full of different flavors. Two headphones stand out to my at this price and thats the Mrspeakers Mad Dog and Denon AH D600.

I think Sennheisers closed range are quite poor. The on ear momentum hasmore attack but that grainy sound was not nice. P5 are also rubbish IMO I really didn't get the hype for them at all. The P7 fixed their issues but sadly the price went even higher.

If you spend some time you can find some truly excellent headphones

Ta bud, but just ordered the B&W P5's.

Do you have to run-in headphones, or just blast away?

You'd be better just walking with them Gel or better still laying back on the sofa with a glass of something red.

I would like to hook them up to my home cinema system but the cable isn't long enough, any ideas where I could get one from? They are the B&W P5's.

The headphone cable won't go into my Pioneer amp, any ideas?

Is there an expensive option or are they all the same?

Cheers for that!

You could probably find an audiophool example for £99 but you won't hear any difference. What you could try to get is a cable made up to the length you want with the correct plugs on each end. Saves having the original cable, an extension and an adaptor. I'm sure someone on ebay does such things.

Why?

This is definitely the one. Would my amp 170 watts output be too powerful for my headphones though?
