HDR or Dolby Vision

if your UHD 4K TV has HDR or Dolby Vision will that only enhance the picture if watching HDR/Dolby Vision content? in other words will having HDR further upscale the TV pic on non HDR content - will it make any difference if you cannot access the HDR content?

well that's strange. i have just lifted this from the Philips/TP Vision website "HDR Upscaling allows all content to be viewed with HDR performance". so which is it?

that will be a gimmick, cant see it improving the picture. sdr content upscaled to HDR will look unnatural and wrong in most circumstances.
