hdmi to rca cable?

what's it for? can i use it to connect my hdmi laptop to amp for music and crt tv for movies?

is this better than 3.5 jack to rca?

there's a usb to 3rca also but i'm afraid its for camcorder only.

Hdmi is digital, rca analogue connector..DAC required for conbersion.

I don't see how that cable could possibly work. As Rob says, HDMI is digital whereas RCA is analogue.

Quite amusing reading the 5 star reviews, mostly written in a very similar way and almost certainly fake. How could they not be?
