I've just bought a PS3 and will shortly have Sky HD to connect to my Philips 32" LCD TV. Unfortunately the TV has only 1 HDMI input socket on it, so I'm assuming I'll need some sort of HDMI switching box to get around this. My question is, do these degrade the signal quality at all and are there any recommendations for these ?

I don't want to buy good quality HDMI leads (Chord Company or QED Qunex) just to lose the quality through a switching box. Presumably I'll also need a 3rd HDMI lead to go from the switching box to the TV, could get expensive !

One of the best we've tested is the QED HDMI switching box (2in/1 out) for £149. They also do a 4in/1 out model. I use one at home with my Arcam DVD player and Virgin V+ HD box and have suffered no drop-off in picture quality.
