HDMI and 4k

Hi all could you please help i am thinking of buying the Sony UBPX700 4K player and at the moment I have Chord SuperShild 1.4 HDMI cables will I need to upgrade these cables for the 4K or are they capable of carrying the picture?

You will need to upgrade them be sure to buy a quality cable too but not a very expensive one. Curry’s are quite good for this.

I would recommend you check the current cables first. Chances are, they will work perfectly fine. If not, check out Amazon for cables.

Thanks BB I’ve just bought a Sony KD65XH9005BU I’m running my fire stick though my amp And the picture seems to be good I’ll get the player and give it ago. Glad to see you still on here I haven’t been on for a few years I was surprised when you replied
