Are all HDMI cables 1.3 ready or do you need a specific 1.3 ready cable? Do i need a 1.3 ready cable to get the best out of Blue-Ray and 1080p?

Thanks in advance

Nope, not all cables are 1.3, you need to make sure one is 1.3 certified when you buy. Whether it will be important or not is whether all the equipment you'll be hooking up has HDMI ports that support the 1.3 standard.

I will be using my PS3 attached to my TH46PZ80, is it worth the extra cash to get one that is 1.3 certified?

From what I can see, both support 1.3 so it will be worth it to ensure you can take advantage of deep colour, lip synch, HD audio (though you'd need an AV amp with 1.3 HDMI ports to get this) and any other features the 1.3 standard offers.

Thanks for the advice, I have a Onkyo 606 on order for the sound improvments

and replacing my 2 year old Denon.

Thanks again for the advice, can I assume that my QED HDMI-P is not 1.3 certified?

Cheers
