having trouble with updating firmware on the Sony HX903

I have checked the website for Sony UK and it states there is a firmware update for the following series:
KDL-40HX800/ HX803 / HX805KDL-46HX800 / HX803 / HX805 / HX900 / HX903 / HX905KDL-52HX900 / HX903 / HX905[/list] I have never heard of the HX905 but hey! Anyway the update is the following serial number 803PKG4.077EUT-0108 So I followed the instructions and checked the version already installed on the TV and it was an older version dated in July. I followed the 'idiots' guide and nothing happened. I plugged the USB memory stick containing the unzipped folder and nothing. I tried it again, and then again and nothing. What am I doing wrong? has anyone else had any problems? The set was on when I plugged the USB device in but still 'nothing'.

Is the memory stick if fat32 file format?

Doh,

I have checked it is FAT32 and I have now got the TV to recognise the file. What the website din't get across (at least to me), is that the contents of the folder containing the update, not only have to be unzipped but the files needs to be extracted from the folder, as the tv seemed to struggle opening the folder.

all done now. tv updated and I can sleep better again.
