I've put my old Pioneer 507XD in the main bedroom, a 37" Philips plasma in my 5yr old sons room (with his wii) and a 19" LCD in my 2yr old daughters rooms, all feed by sky / virgin / blu ray via my opus whole house system.

Our watching position is more than 2 metres from the TV, and it's great if its my turn to go upstairs while the footie is on.

NO I don't like tv's in the bedroom, all that's allowed is my dab/cd Yamaha as I love the radio to go to sleep. 🙂

A 32 inch Sharp LCD and an Optoma HD20 projector with an 80 inch electric screen. (Wifes idea

Lucky kid. I had a sub 14" (did they do a 10" TV?) black and white portable, which had a dial to change channel and no remote control, obviously

I had to remember the order of the stations to know which channel I was watching. (I think ITV was the first channel, going clockwise from the beginning of the dial's movement)

It's not like I'm ancient either. I'm 36.

My parents clearly didn't love me very much.

Big Chris:I had a sub 14" (did they do a 10" TV?) black and white portable, which had a dial to change channel

I had one of them, a neighbour of mine had some kind of RF sender to pipe his TV round the house, I could find the right frequency to pick up his channel and watch whatever he was watching, he had satellite TV with some "interesting" German channels...

I can't see the point in floging old equipment as it often doesn't make much so I tend to "recycle" it to other rooms in the house, so in My bedroom I have a Panasonic 50PW7, Pioneer DV757Ai and Sky+, My Daughter has our older 42" Fujitsu Plasma and PS3, My Son has a 32" Samsung LCD and Xbox360.

Had a 22" lcd but now use that as a monitor for pc.
Hardly watch TV in bed but if I do quite happy with my ipad.
Got downloadd movies, iplayer & freeview so although a bit small, light enough to have on bed
