Has anyone ever compare DAC X to the DAC XP?

I try a few time to demo both but never had a chance! I just wonder does the XP sound any better or the more preimium is going to digital preamp section?

I've never had chance to listen to the DAC X. What I can say though is that the DAC/XP is an excellent piece of kit and it sounds great in my system. I'd ask the same question on the CyrusUnofficial forum, you'd probably get a more detailed reply there.

Thanks Ian....I have been told that the X is something of a giant killer when patner with the XT transport. Have you try the XT? Is the 8X the transport you are using?
