Happy with MA Silver 6s

I have now run my new MA Silver 6s for two days and am astounded how different they are to the RX6s that I had before.
I am 65 years old and don't get excited much these days but they are really quite brilliant speakers IMO.
The clarity and imaging is superb and the bass goes low but is well controlled and tight.
As David says at Frank Harvey the difference is not subtle.
rest of system is Arcam FMJ A19 amplifier with Audiolab 8200CD player.
I am still not sure if the Arcam is powerfull enough but it sounds ok, I am just a bit worried that it might clip at high volumes.

Well done. Enjoy your new bundles. MAs are sneared at by some members.

When I had the Arcam A65+ powering the RS6s they sounded superb, particularly synergy-wise. However, once I purchased the Leema they took on a whole new dynamic. Different animal altogether. Perhaps if you're looking for an upgrade you could either add a power amp to the A19 or look for a A38.

Its good to hear your exited at 65 it gives us all hope, and you have some nice modern kit.

All you need now is Streamer and Spotify and a whole new world of music and radio could be yours!

I read here that it became 4 stars en not 5 like the RX6. Why? I likes the RX 6 expect the highs which was for me with a wooden floor too bright.

In my opinion it should be 5 stars just like the RX6, just goes to show that personal taste comes into play.

I stand by that too. Credit where credit is due, Monitor Audio have produced the biggest improvement to the Silver range (to my ears) for as long as I have been selling it.
