Hana are brand labelled and struggle with scale of economy & huge volumes of MC cartridges produced by AT & Ortofon

Cost new was £639.00 Sale price £495.00
High Output moving coils are also pointless as moving mass is far higher to achieve a higher output 99.9% of moving coils are lower moving mass Low Output designs
Stylus: Nude Diamond Shibata
Cantilever: Aluminium
very low Spec alu , Big boys use higher spec Boron for under £500

Interesting although I never saw the point of high output mc cartridges especially at this sort of price.

All the benefit of low moving mass on the cantilever / Stylus on a low output MC is ruined by all the extra coil windings required to give a higher output. Mass and Inertia is the last thing you need in a cartridge reading a tiny groove
Bit like a sports car & adding heavy wheels and tyres will affect handling

High output HOMC pointless as almost all phono stage have MM/MC inputs these days or use a SUT step up transformer
Ortofon only make LOMC but SPU have had HOMC versions for 60+ years
Ortofon SPU GTX have Lundahl SUT fitted in the headshell turns a LOMC into a HOMC
