That appears to be a birdfeeder.

Personally, given the above, I think it was £120 very wisely spent...

Apologies for that, i used to be able to copy and paste with the old site, here is what i meant to post.

Looks very nice! Now you just need trunking for the cable sticking underneath the TV and paint it with the wall colour.

How's the TV?

I might put up with the cable underneath, the tv is fine i have just watched "the raid 2" this afternoon and to be honest i didn't even notice the curve and that was in a dark room with the curtains shut, my only complaint is that it is reflective when viewed from a certain angle, i wasn't expecting that i thought it would be the opposite.

Nice one Simon, looks great. What's your next purchase then, a 4K Blu-ray player?

The pictures have a hell of a lot of detail in them.

Why did you think the opposite. Concave surfaces attract all the light in. In the TV shootout review, I mentioned this:

"the reflection on the curved Samsung is far more distracting that the flat TVs."

Which is why when I can crack open my pension fund (a process that has taken months so far, with the end not yet in sight) I'll be thinking about a Samsung flat HU7500 television, not the curved HU8500 series.

I always thought that lcd or led tvs were less reflective than plasma (glass) and i thought being curved would difuse any reflections however i must look on the bright side if i think of three seating positions left, center, right, it only happens on the left where i am mostly sat but not on the center or right where the window is.

PCM means nothing about the audio gets altered and is uncompressed, the DTS neo 2:5 is a fancy codec that can output for example a 5.1 audio stream to all the speakers on a set up if there are more than 6 = 5.1. This doesn't mean its a bad codec but it's not a true descrete audio codec as I think it pushes audio to the channels the 5.1 wouldn't be using.

Is this on your new TV (which looks very nice by the way) or a setting on an AV receiver?

It's on the tv, i get a choice between PCM and DTS neo 2:5, i want what is natural and what ever is broadcast i presume that would be PCM, it is currently on DTS neo 2:5 at this moment so i will change it, their was a third one which was greyed out but i can't remember what it was.

In that case then PCM is the one you want. Hope it sounds great.

I cant believe anyone would trust their new tv wall mounted on a £12 bracket - thats being extremely frugal on something that holds such value to the wall....
