My cute, but brainless, dog (This one):

Got himself tangled up in my headphone cable, while I was playing my Roland electronic kit. He panicked, and tried to outrun the situation, yanking the headphones off my barnet. Anyway, he'd broken the headphones, so new pair needed. I ordered these:

SONY

Only £15, so I wasn't expecting much, but, for drumming, they're superb. On a par with the Goldring DR100 that they have replaced, which were £40.

idc:My friend who was a drummer in a World Championship winning pipe band, loves his Goldring NS1000s when he is in his little practice studio.

I bet he does! I'm sure the '1000s are superb. Goldring over-ears are really comfortable and can be worn for a couple of hours, easily, without discomfort which is why they are ideal for drumming.

I've just had a look on Play.com for the Goldring NS1000's. They're going for £60. Bargain. How much are they selling my old DR100's for? £75! How does that work? I paid £40 for mine, three years ago. Strange. That is a great deal on the 1000's, though.
