Well judging by the asda pics they look the same as the tesco one's. The tesco one comes with felt pads underneath so if you got them tehn you would not need any floor protector. Also, the tesco ones are £10 instore I wonder if the asda ons are the same as the website price? bargain if they are!

Apart from cosmetics, does anyone know if there would be any difference between Granite and a paving slab? I assume not.

Don't think so. In fact I seem to remember that being a WHF tip in the old days (i.e. whack a paving slab under all your equipment). Partner allowing of course...
