In 3 weeks i will finally pick up my cyrus 8vs amp that will replace my trusty old mf xa1, the cyrus will partner my arcam cd72 and moniter audio rs1's, im already planning on a cdp upgrade and was thinking of the following new and used.

1.Rega apollo

2 Arcam cd192

3 Roksan caspian mk1

4 Cyrus 6se/8x- maybe to bright?

What would be the ideal choice for my bright sounding amp and speakers?

There's some cracking deals on end of line / ex-demo Musical Fidelity A3.5 (£600-£700) or A5.5 (£1,000) CDPs at the moment, which may suit your requrements vey well

Good call, i wouldnt mind getting hold of a mf x-ray v8 as i used to have the original one and loved the sound.
