Hi Folks,

Anyone out there with suggestions for a TV specifically for gaming on the 360 through component? I have 50inch Sony LCD rear pro at the moment-which I love but I am moving my 360 into a smaller room. The Pana TH-42pz80 is top of my list-due in no small part to some of the great deals on it-my main concern is if Plasma is suitable for gaming-I play online a lot-and also that the 360 outputs 720p and the Pana's display is 1024x768-does this mean that it will resize the pic and I will have black bars on the screen?

Hey there,
You won't have black bars, don't worry! Basically, most of the Panny HD Ready screens are 768 horizontal lines and they all upscale so the Xbox fills the screen. Personally, I love gaming on my Panny plasma (PX-600B), but I think you should check out the other TVs as LCDs have improved a lot over the last few years since I bought mine and it's possible one of them will be better just for gaming. My advice is definitely to audition before you buy.
