if the phone's still in warranty, the phone repair shop will be happy to repair it and claim from the manufacturer. There are certain classes of damage (such as water) that they'll just say "no" on, as the manufacturers won't payout on their warranty claim. Technically, they should fix this damage either, but if it's something that they can pass up to Samsung "screen failure" or similar, they'll probably do it just to make a quid. Not ethical, but that's their call!
If they're really cheeky, they'll charge you and make a warranty claim....!
