Well, all tickets have been sold out. The only tickets remaining are for the previews on Wednseday 7th April (13:00 - 17:30).

Surely the references to 'sold out' refer only to pre-booked theater tickets ? I cannot imagine that an event at the NEC would be turning away paying visitors !!

Nope, it is truly sold out - there are only so many tickets the NEC can legally sell to events (good old health and safety), and they've reached those numbers. Hence the extra afternoon on the 7th.

Pioneer's big thing right now is the new range of iPod docks, plus their in-car endeavours.

Yep, I just called the ticket office at the NEC. Completely sold out, except for the Wednesday afternoon preview. So unless you already have tickets don't bother travelling !!

O my god, you mean like August/September time?

Do you reckon it's fair to say they will probaly be releasing "high end" pioneer blu ray players this time eg £800+?

Yes, I think it'll be August/September time for new Pioneer BD players - as it has been for the past few years. And I have no idea of the line-up - and even if I did, I couldn't tell you as it'd be embargoed info at this stage. Patience....

I trust you implicitly Clare, but I must have been on the phone to the NEC when you posted, and I didn't check for later posts.

As for the show's website, no - I didn't trust that !
