Having thought that 1920 * 1080 is fully hd, i'm confused by places like John Lewis and Sainsbury etc listing screens with this resolution as only hd ready.

Is there something else i should be looking for?

They probably mean that their ready to accept an hd source such as sky or blu ray because with out

their only hd ready, as the sky hd ad points out.
