Hello I currently have a Sky+ box and I am looking to buy my first LCD TV. The new 2008 panasonic 32" LCD's look interesting as they are Full HD - which in my very limited knowledge would sound like a good idea to get for future proofing. I also intend to get a PS3 for DVD and Blu-Ray playback. However I am not expecting to move to Sky HD any time soon and I am a little worried the picture quality I would get from the standard Sky box will look poor - especially on the Full HD screens. Does this make a difference? Should I be looking Full HD at all? Thanks

IMHO FULL HD at a screen size of 32"" is a waste of time as the benifits of the extra resolution would be hard to see if at all on a 32"".

Well that depends on viewing distance doesn't it!

Sit close enough and you'll see the difference, if you sit across a room from it, don't bother.

I would say that a good bit-rate channel will be fine on a 32", certainly is on a 46" at 8ft.
