Anyone know how to get the FreeSat Guide to display a current tv channel rather than a logo? Thanks.

The FreeView tuner shows current selected tv channel within the top left corner, so surely the FreeSat tuner can do the same rather than showing a logo.

Thanks.

I don't quite understand what you mean, when i am on channel five or itv hd for example then i get channel five or itv hd displayed in the top left hand corner, i don't get any freesat message displayed on screen.

Thanks for responding.

The channel is not showing in the top left corner.

see pictures on following link

A freesat logo is shown in the top left corner regardless of what channel I view.

any ideas how I can get the picture to display?

Thanks.

You mean a mini screen which shows the current tv programme being watched, right?

There should be something in the settings, but you'll need to have a trawl through your tv's instruction manual.

What model is the tv?

Hi, yes that's right.

Unable to locate an option linked to guide/epg mini window just options to mark adult channels and genre selections.

Its a 46" F8000. I linked standard aerial and 2 cable aerials in back of tv. All channels display fine. The FreeView guide mini window works as well however the FreeSat mini window does not and just displays a logo re pictures.

Any help is appreciated?

Thanks.

Hi Torque, did you contact Samsung re this problem and if so what was their response? I ask this as I recently purchased a Samsung UE48H6670 TV and I have the same problem (also "no sound" of current programme)?

The set has twin tuners for both FreeviewHD and FreesatHD inbuilt.

I have twin feeds for the Freesat from dish and in settings my aerial is set to "duel"

It works perfectly with FreeviewHD.

With my previous Samsung TV used with a Samsung Set Top Box it all worked perfectly. It is very frustrating if you are watching a channel and the commercials come on and you decide to see what programmes are next and decide which to watch but you don't know when the commercials end so possibly miss some of your programme!!!!! Grrrrr!
