My unit has started to provide subtitles whenever you pause a program, if you record it and play it back no problem (or subtitles) I have tried software updates.

Any other Foxsat user suffering from this?

It was a known bug, that effected some boxes last year, but was fixed with a firmware update AFAIK - Are you sure you F/W is upto date?

From what i can remember though, either toggling Subtitles ON/OFF in the menu, or doing a factory reset should cure the issue...
