Fostex TH-600 - review

I've just spent a month with the Fostex TH-600. The relatively budget version of the flagship TH-900, which loses the wood backs, but is one sleak looking monster. I also thought this one was interesting because of how it compares to the now discontinued Denon AH-D7000, which I make detailed comparisons to.

Thanks very much Dale! You know what I should have mentioned and compared it to here? - the Sennheiser HD800. The tonality is a bit different (the TH-600 is warmer and less anylitical), although it's been a while since I've heard the HD800 I think the detail it has isn't that much more than the TH-800. Comfort wise I think people will fall for one or the other, rather than one specifically. The TH-600 is heavier, but keeps away from the ears and head more... I should probably put that into the review. Oh well there you go, a sneak preview for WHF
