For a smaller room...Tannoy F4 or RS6?

I just wondering if the Tannoy F4's would be better suited as someone on another forum mentioned they were front ported, what do you guys think?

Also in terms of the music i listen to which is predominantly rock and rap, which is the better suited

The M/A RS6's are front ported as well but they do have a rear port behind the tweeter.

If youre room is small i'd say go for the Tannoys; however much i love the RS6's, a small room wouldn't be suited to them as their bass is substantive and would boom too much unless they were bunged!

Cheers Dan, the BR2''s are very impressive but it has given me a hunger for an affordable good performance floorstander due to the extra bass and soundstage. Does it sound good at lower volumes also? I just don't want to end up with a polite speaker again like AE Evo was.
