FM aerial

I have a Sony DavIS10, which I am very happy with, except that the radio reception is very hit and miss. I was just going to buy a better aerial than the thin bit of wire that is supplied, but it is not a standard co-ax plug. It looks like a co-ax, but is a much smaller diameter with a needle like centre pin.

Any suggestions??

It all depends on how much you want to spend,if your preference is for a particular radio station (e.g R1,2,3,4) (determines directional or omni-directional)and how far away you are from your transmitter.
A safe option is to go for something like Antiference 5 pole...
Given your tuner, I think the Antiference is one to go for...
