Can anyone recommend a good media player for Android that plays lossless files. The media player on my HTC Incredible S doesn't play FLAC or Apple Lossless and I'm starting to move in that direction for my digital music at home. It would save ripping CDs twice!

Thanks

Poweramp.

Many thanks 'The Lhc'

Poweramp works a treat. Will quite happily stump up the £3 after the 2 week trial runs out. Right now time for a larger microSD card to store more lossless music on

I use Foobar2000 to batch convert FLAC to mp3 for storage on my ipod, phone, car memory stick etc. I don't see the point in using large file sizes for portable devices, particularly when the memory cards aren't that cheap.

A 16GB card costs only £13.99 http://www.amazon.co.uk/SanDisk-16GB-microSDHC-Memory-Card/dp/B002NTP06K/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1310191137&sr=8-2

& a 32Gb card costs £36.99: http://www.amazon.co.uk/SanDisk-SDSDQM-032G-microSDHC-32GB-Card/dp/B003HIWHN0/ref=pd_cp_computers_3

Depending on your droid - the flac files may only appear when browsing by folder - not in your media library, with song, artist etc.

If this is the case download 'Extended Media Scanner'.

This will add the flacs to the library view.

I came across this one:

It looks good, and its free.
