First major purchase this summer

Earlier this year I demoed various systems and decided upon NaimNait 5i + Naim Nait CD5i + Rega Rs3.

Have saved up enough for either the Amp OR speakers (was planning on being patient and buying both------but cant wait!!)

Current System:

Kenwood Ka1030 amp

Kenwood DP2030 CDP

Tannoy mercury M2 sat on Atacama Nexus 5i stands (unfilled at moment)

Chord Chameleon Silver Plus interconnect

Chord Carnival silverscreen speaker cable

Already had one vote to buy the amp first (thanks Chebby), any others views??

If purely down to the amp or speakers, then I'd look at upgrading the amp first.

Assuming your Tannoys are in good working order, then they will survive the CD upgrade too before you need worry about the RS3's.

Hopefully by then Rega will have some more veneer finishes to choose from.

Ok, would you suggest the CDP would be the first upgrade then? Trouble is I demoed them all together and loved it, whilst I changed out the CDP between Cyrus and Rega, huge differences there, just thought my amp would severely limit the upgrade to CDP. However.......
