FIRMWARE UPDATE PROBLEM

I ve just burned the fimware update for my pioneer LX70a bluray player (or so i thought) i put the disc in the player & it said "cant play disc" on the tv screen & then it said "data disc" on the front panel of the player, its doing nuthing, does anybody know wats going on here?? im at a total loss. thankyou

have u tried using the ethernet connection to download? You shouldn't have to though its an option. In the ins. Manual page 51 gives a poss solution. One further suggestion is that you consider taking it back to the supplier if poss and asking them to do it for you. Nice guys at sevenoaks did this for me foc (gave em some beers for their trouble though). If they cant do it then it looks as though it may be faulty and they can exchange it for you there and then.
