Here's a new headphone I purchased, which has incredibly good sound, and an unusual Balanced Armature device in with the driver.

That's a nice long review that is. Never heard of them previously.

Final Audio has been making some fine (but very expensive) IEMs for awhile, and they even had a $5000 (I think) headphone that never made it into production. Now they have some IEMs that are reasonably priced, and this Pandora VI is supposed to be their first production full-size headphone. It's really unusual - looks like something from a science fiction movie, but ohhhh - is it good.

Watch out for this price range -- the current UK price for the Pandora VI is £699, but when I got the FI-BA-SS IEM it was around £1000 and now it's much lower. But, based on what I've heard with the VI and even though I haven't heard the Grado PS-1000 (to name an example), I'd bet a few quid that they are very comparable in sound. I've lusted after the PS-1000 for quite awhile having had the PS-500 when it came out, and everything I've read about the PS-1000 says 'Pandora VI'.
