Female to female banana plug connectors

I need to connect two speaker cables, each with a banana plug on the end. What is a good, high quality female to female connector I could use?

Good question.
I saw no end of plug couplers during a quick look online.
None of those I saw were gold plated, ideally you want them to at least match your plugs in that respect
(not for magic sound, but for their non-tarnishing properties).

Personally, I'd prefer (sensibly priced) continuous runs to any joined lengths of cable.
